It has been a while since I’ve update, and a good chunk of that is due to focusing on non-writing things. Also 2026 has been very rough for me with losses, physical injuries, the government literally making my day job more stressful, and shake-ups to my routine that really affected my mental health. There were some fantastic moments, including new poem acceptances. I will update my Publications page when those are out and also share on socials.
Now more than ever, identity and representation are so important. I’m excited to be participating in two poetry events that uplift marginalized voices. The first is YELLOW’s AANHPI Heritage Month reading, which will be on May 24 at 11:30 AM CDT. It’s free to attend, but please register for the Zoom link.

The other event is in person at The Wild Detectives in Dallas. Inner Moolight is having its second annual Pride open mic. The list is first come, first serve so you can join me in signing up.
